NIHR Organises a Lecture for Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) Employees
The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), in cooperation with Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), has organised a virtual lecture entitled “NIHR - Roles and Missions”, with the participation of a number of company officials and employees.
The lecture was presented by Dr. Malallah Alhammadi, Head of the NIHR Committee on Detention & Facilities Visitation, in which he discussed NIHR strategy, action plan and legal framework. He also presented a brief of the International Bill of Human Rights, which includes human rights and fundamental freedoms.
This event falls within the NIHR strategy, action plan and competencies in the field of promoting and disseminating a culture of human rights by holding lectures as well as training and educational courses for all segments of society on topics related to human rights.
